Thank You!
Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who participated in the 11th Annual Perche Creek GutBuster Race!
I think this was the “perfect year”. Great weather, good water, absolutely delicious burgers from Marcus and his wife Shae of “Roy’s Hot Dog” fame. We had give-always from our very generous sponsors, LadSurfski, Some Beach Outfitters, Heartland SoapWorks, and Alpine Shop. Of course, saving the best for last would be all of you! Nancy and Tony Taube were, as always, exceptional Time-keepers. Kimberly Lockwood was our Turn-around Maven. The best paddlers any race director could ask for all came together to paddle, eat, laugh, and share their enjoyment of the sport with one another.
Thank you one and all!
Charlie & Melinda
Results will be posted here and at Heartlandpaddler.com tomorrow.

LOOKING GOOD!
Charlie and I went down to the Providence Fishing Access to check on the conditions on Perche Creek (for the upcoming gutBuster race). Things look good. The parking lot is clear (as is the outhouse) and the ramp is accessible. We think that the creek should go down another foot or two by Saturday. Also drove up to the turnaround point (last two photos). Looks like all is clear!
